Up for sale is my beloved 1997 Seadoo XP. I am the original owner and bought it brand-new in 1998. To cut to the chase it needs a brand-new leading end and its prepared to go. The new motor has less than 20 hours on it. I'm asking $995.

I restore the entire motor top and bottom end in 2009 and did a major overhaul. I restore the engine with the very best parts readily available at the time. It was constantly fresh water riden on the CT river. It's seen the ocean a couple of times but never ever given that I restore the motor. Since then its only seen about 20 hours of use.

What it needs:.
New leading end: Cylinder 2 is fine Cylinder 1 took in water and overheated. As soon as I recognized something was wrong I promptly shut the ski off and had it towed in. It will in fact run the means it is but its not functional. I'm rather sure you can get away with a new piston and rings and the head has to be machined possibly changed.

Upgrades include:.
XP ltd guiding cable television.
Bilge pump.
PPG phase 1 kit (machined head, carbohydrate reconstruct and other carb upgrades, various air consumption).
upgraded nozzle.
Blueprinted updated impeller with less than 20 hours on the wear ring.
less than 20 hours on bottom end.

The ski is in excellent shape and for little cash can be back on the water. I do not have the time or a car to use it anymore.
